Jacqueline A. Parker
Biography
Adjunct Professor Jacqueline Parker is Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Bank of America. She has spent her career as a strategic adviser for domestic and international financial institutions and companies offering consumer and business products and services, including credit cards, mortgages, home equity loans and lines of credit, mobile payments, and deposit accounts.
Professor Parker has significant in-house experience, having served in senior and executive roles at major financial institutions for almost two decades. In those positions, she provided counsel on innovative products and services, compliance, risk, and bank regulatory and enforcement actions.
Most recently, Professor Parker was Deputy Director of Consumer Fairness at Citigroup, Of Counsel at Ballard Spahr LLP, and Senior Vice President and Senior Fair Lending Counsel at Synchrony Financial. Prior to working in-house, Professor Parker advised on business and corporate transactions, and state and federal consumer financial services laws at several national law firms. Before attending law school, she provided financial services for consumer, small business and commercial customers at Maryland National Bank.
