Jay Diamond

Biography

Adjunct Professor Jay Diamond has been teaching at Haub Law since 2016. He is an effective and creative lawyer, collaborator, and dealmaker, with more than 30 years of experience guiding companies through complex legal and business issues in fast-moving circumstances.

Professor Diamond is a former Senior Vice President, and Chief Counsel, at CA Technologies, where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, capital transactions, and banking transactions, among other matters. Before that he was a Partner at Holtzmann, Wise & Shepard, where he represented clients in technology, pharmaceuticals and investment banks in various corporate matters. He was also an Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP, where his corporate practice focused on banking, public and private equity, debt transactions, M&A and strategic investment and joint venture transactions.
