Gain Experience in Our On-Site Clinic
Facilities include an on-site Speech and Hearing Center, audiology test suite, and technology-rich speech lab with state-of-the-art equipment. Graduates from the communication sciences and disorders masters program will be eligible for American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification. Graduates of the program are prepared to sit for the PRAXIS examination in speech-language pathology.

CSD 652 Communication Disorders: Autism, which provides a foundation for understanding of communication problems experienced by individuals on the autism spectrum; CSD 660 Dysphagia, a course that explores assessment and treatment of swallowing disorders in children and adults; and CSD 670 Neurosciences for Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Graduates of this CSD program are highly competent speech-language pathologists who have mastered the skills necessary to diagnose and treat clients with a broad range of communication and swallowing disorders.
