Parking and Traffic Guidelines

Parking at the Westchester Campuses

Parking is only available on the Pleasantville and Elisabeth Haub School of Law campuses. All students, faculty, staff, contract employees, and visitors must display a valid parking permit or temporary hang tag and are obligated to adhere to the University’s parking regulations (PDF) at all times while on campus.

Parking is limited and obtaining a parking permit does not guarantee the availability or location of a parking space. The responsibility for finding a legal parking space rests with the motor vehicle operator. Lack of space is not a valid reason for violating Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ’s parking regulations.

Residential Students (Westchester Campuses)

Parking permits for the Pleasantville and Elisabeth Haub School of Law campuses expire August 31 of each academic year and must be renewed on a yearly basis. First-year students on the Pleasantville Campus are not permitted to bring a vehicle to campus. Resident students are entitled to only one registered vehicle.

Parking for Pleasantville residents with an R permit is available along Alumni Hall (Lot I), behind Martin Hall (Lot M), North Hall (Lot N) and Townhouses (Lot R). Additional parking is available in lots O and T.

Resident students who have not registered for a Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ parking permit, but have been identified by other means as having a vehicle on campus, will be held responsible and any associated fines resulting from citations will be placed on their student account.

Commuter Students (Westchester Campuses)

Parking permits do not expire and require a one-time registration; however, if any vehicle changes occur a new permit is required.

Parking for Pleasantville commuter students with a C permit is available in lots A, B, C, D, E, F, G, I, P, T, U and X. There is limited parking in Lot H behind Choate House.

Commuter students who have not registered for a Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ parking permit, but have been identified by other means as having a vehicle on campus, will be held responsible and any associated fines resulting from citations will be placed on their student account.

Elisabeth Haub School of Law students residing off-campus, but requiring overnight parking on campus, may apply for a specialized permit authorizing overnight parking on the Elisabeth Haub School of Law campus in Lots 3, 4, or 5. Only one permit per student. Fees are $200 per year or $100 per semester (subject to change). Expires annually on August 31.

Residential First-Year Residential Student Parking Policy (Pleasantville Campus)

Residential first-year students are not authorized to have vehicles on campus at any time (including weekends) for the duration of their first year (fall and spring semesters). The University offers a daily shuttle service, providing transportation for students on campus, to Memorial Plaza in Pleasantville, to Elisabeth Haub School of Law in White Plains, and to Pace's NYC Campus.

Residential first-year students who require a car on campus, due to extenuating circumstances, must submit a written petition to Vincent Beatty, executive director of Safety and Security, at security@pace.edu.

Residential first-year students who have not received a Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ parking permit, but have been identified by other means as having a vehicle on campus, will be held responsible for violating this policy and all associated fines resulting from citations will be placed on their student account.

Faculty/Staff/Contract Employees (Westchester Campuses)

Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ parking permits will be issued to faculty, staff, and contract employees. Parking permits do not expire and require a one-time registration; however, if any vehicle changes occur a new permit is required.

Visitors (Westchester Campuses)

All visitors to Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ's Pleasantville and Elisabeth Haub School of Law campuses that require parking must display a valid temporary tag on their vehicle dashboard. Members of the University community are responsible for their guests and the citations they may receive. Students, faculty, and staff may apply for a temporary parking permit for their guests by emailing the Office of Safety and Security. Visitors to campus must comply with all regulations in the Parking and Traffic Guide. Visitors who do not comply with the parking regulations may have their vehicle towed or banned from campus.
