Faculty and Staff: Register Now for Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Course
Developed by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. You’ll gain the skills you need to provide initial help and support to someone in need.
Students: Earn a Wellness Ambassador Badge
Our newest program teaches you about the eight dimensions of wellness and how to incorporate them into your life while acquiring the tools to promote the wellbeing of others. And you earn a badge, too.
Creating a Culture of Kindness: Workshops Available
One-hour interactive workshops help individuals and departments create and maintain a culture of kindness. Participants receive an overview of their kindness strengths and a comprehensive toolkit including resources to reinforce these concepts!

Counseling Center
The Counseling Centers on the New York City and Westchester campuses are here to help undergraduate and graduate/law students manage stressors and challenges, support them as they achieve their goals, and enhance their personal growth. The Counseling Center provides confidential services and individual and group counseling around a variety of topics.
University Health Care
Did you know that UHC offers a full range of primary health care services to Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ students, faculty, staff, alumni, and their families? UHC is staffed by Nurse Practitioners, who are advanced practice registered nurses (APRN) and Certified Medical Assistants. Physician consultants available.
