CHP Scholarships and Awards: The College of Health Professions offers a variety of internal scholarships and awards made possible by generous grants and endowments.

External Scholarships

Pace provides academic incentive scholarships, as well as grants based on financial need. These awards are combined with a variety of federal and state financial aid programs and are specially tailored for each individual student. Learn more on financial aid

Professional Opportunities

Graduate Assistantship

The Graduate Assistantship provides opportunities for graduate students enrolled in a master’s, DNP, or PhD program to work on research, teaching, and special projects while receiving tuition remission and a stipend.

CHP Annual Scholarship Day

On CHP Annual Scholarship Day, all CHP students are invited to present posters and digital representations of their scholarly projects. Faculty, staff, and members of the community are invited to learn more about the breath of projects undertaken by students representing the different health professions.

To broaden students’ experience of the health professions, the Center sponsors them to attend professional conferences in the tri-state area with opportunities to present their research. In the past these have included: Sigma Theta Tau Zeta Omega Chapter Research Day; the Annual Isabel Maitland Stewart Nursing Research Conference at Teacher’s College, Columbia University; NYU Hospitals Center Departments of Nursing Annual Research and Evidence-Based Nursing Practice Conference; New York State Public Health Association Conference; Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior Conference; Academy for Nutrition and Dietetics’ Conference; American Occupational Therapy Association Conference on Children and Youth.

Global/Glocal Opportunities

The Center for Strategic Initiatives and Grants is committed to providing every CHP student the opportunity to develop cross-cultural understanding and cultural intelligence with global or glocal experiential learning opportunities ("GELOS"). The Center works closely with Pace International to identify, recruit, and support international students to the College of Health Professions. The Center also welcomes visiting students and visiting scholars to the College of Health Professions to enhance global learning. View more information on global/glocal.
