Competitions
The Lubin School works with corporate partners to host competitions that give students professional experience in data analytics consulting projects. Winning teams are awarded internships and job interviews for full-time placements. Recent competitions were co-sponsored by , a global media investment management group, and by , a platform for everyday AI.
Data and Software Support
Students tackle these competitions using open source analysis software ( and ), paid software (e.g., Excel, , , , ), company sponsored software (e.g., ), databases (e.g., MRI Plus, Simmons OneView, Compustat, Lexis Nexis), and learning platforms provided by Pace (e.g., LinkedIn Learning) and sponsored by partners (e.g., ).
Sponsored by the Lubin School and by Dataiku, the Hackathon gives students the opportunity to showcase their skills in wrangling and analyzing data, as well as storytelling with data.
The Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ and GroupM - Mindshare Hackathon challenges students to pitch a data-driven media strategy, preparing them for careers in today's rapidly-changing business environment.
