Admissions Process

How to Apply

The Doctoral program seeks applicants who have significant career achievement and potential and who have superior academic performance and promise. Qualified applicants must have at least 10 years of professional experience, and an MBA or similar master's degree from an accredited institution.

If you qualify and the information on this site has piqued your interest in doctoral education in business, please consider applying to our program. You can complete the online part of the application in less than five minutes by entering some factual information when accessing the link below.

After you submit the application, we will send you an email that acknowledges we received the application. Then, we will attach Part B of the application for you to complete offline. It will require more thought and research than Part A.

Application Materials

The sections below include links to all the admissions materials you should need to apply to the program. The following documents may be downloaded, or websites consulted, by accessing the appropriate links housed in the sections below.

  • The Application Instructions contains instructions for completing an admission application for the doctoral program in business. In addition, to these instructions, Part B of the application also has detailed instructions for each section.

  • The Admission Application is in two parts as described in the application instructions. Combined, they are the official application for admission. Follow the application instructions to complete the application.

  • The Affirmation Form contains instructions for completing an admission application for the doctoral program in business. In addition, to these instructions, Part B of the application also has detailed instructions for each section. Access the Affirmation Form (PDF)

  • Recommendation Form is an MS Word template with macros. Complete the applicant section, using a personal computer with Microsoft Word 2010 or later version. It will function properly only if you open it with macros enabled, and save it as filename.DOTM. Send a copy of this file as an email attachment to each of your four recommenders. Each recommender should complete the remainder of the form and send it attached to an email addressed to dps.business@pace.edu. Recommenders should not return the completed form to you. (The application instructions have suggestions for selecting recommenders.)

  • Transcript Request is a PDF document. Complete and deliver this request form, together with the appropriate fee, to each post-secondary institution of higher learning that you attended. Institutions should send transcripts directly to the doctoral office, not return them to you. Access the Transcript Request Form (PDF)

  • International Transcript is a PDF document. All transcripts from educational institutions outside the United States must be evaluated (and translated, if necessary) by an agency approved by the doctoral program. This document contains a list of approved agencies. Access the International Transcript document (PDF)

  • The GMAT website may be contacted to either reserve a test date and location or to request that GMAC send your recent test scores to the doctoral program. When requesting that your scores be sent to the Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Doctor of Professional Studies program, specify the Institution Code 2721 for GMAT. .

  • The TOEFL website may be contacted if you must submit scores. TOEFL is required if you are not a native of an English-speaking country and have not earned a degree from an English-speaking college or university. When requesting that your scores be sent to the Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Doctor of Professional Studies program, specify the Institution Code 2635 for TOEFL. .
