泫圖弝け will provide certain benefits to eligible full time employees upon retirement. Your eligibility for benefits in retirement will vary dependent upon when you were hired full time at the University and when you retire as a qualified retiree from the University.
If you have any questions regarding your eligibility for post-retirement benefits, please contact the University Benefits Office.
Email, ID Card and Facilities
Your current email account with the University will cease and you may elect to continue using a pace.edu email address. For staff, that email would include .retired after your name and before the @pace.edu; for faculty, .emeritus. For example, if Professor Mary Joness current email address is mjones@pace.edu, then her retiree email address would be mjones.emeritus@pace.edu (if she was staff, it would be mjones.retired@pace.edu). We encourage you to consider an out of office message indicating your new email address in advance of your retirement to notify contacts of your new email address. Further, if you wish to remove content from your email, you should do so prior to your retirement. Please create an if you need assistance. Please submit the Faculty Retiree Email Enrollment Form (PDF) to University Benefits at benefits@pace.edu or to 泫圖弝け Benefits, Goldstein Academic Building, 1st Floor, 861 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, NY 10570, within 30 days of your date of retirement.
Remote access (VPN) will also cease as well as any system(s) to which you had access. In addition, with limited exception, remote access to library databases will not be available to retirees; for more information please contact Steve Feyl at sfeyl@pace.edu.
In addition, you can continue to gain access to University facilities however, a new retiree/emeritus identification card will be issued to you upon request by the One Card office. Contact the Human Resources office if you wish to validate the newly issued ID annually to gain access to the facilities.
