Spring 2025 Graduate Assistantships
What is a Graduate Assistantship?
Graduate Assistantships are designed for degree seeking graduate students who are interested in an opportunity to gain an academic experience that directly complements their degree program curriculum. All assistantships are diverse in nature and encompass a wide variety of responsibilities and duties while allowing students to also achieve their academic goals. An assistantship will offer opportunities to work with faculty on research projects or other special assignments that require advanced research and/or discipline skills, assist faculty with support of large class sections, and/or be related to the student’s clinical or field work studies.
Graduate Assistantships are part-time paid-work experiences that include tuition remission and a stipend.
When are Graduate Assistantships Offered?
Graduate Assistantships (GA) are offered for the Fall and Spring semesters only. The GA is assigned to a semester-based assignment and will need to reapply each semester.
Please note that only a limited number of Graduate Assistantships are granted to the various academic departments within each school each year.
