Our Commitment to Your Wellbeing
The Elisabeth Haub School of Law is committed to fostering a healthy environment on our campus where the well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and the entire law school community is a priority. We are committed to assisting the law school community to thrive professionally and personally. In turn, we support well-being initiatives that help to achieve these goals. The Office of Student and Campus Affairs oversees a wide range of programming and activities incorporating the eight pillars of wellness: mental and emotional, social, intellectual, financial, spiritual, physical, occupational, and environmental. We are proud to be a signatory to the to improve mental health and well-being of lawyers.

Recognizing that high levels of problematic substance use and mental health distress present a significant challenge for the legal community, and acknowledging that more can and should be done to improve their health and well-being, we, the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ, hereby pledge our support for this innovative campaign and will work to adopt and prioritize its framework for building a better future.
Wellness Center
Haub Law’s new Wellness Center includes a fitness studio located on the Ground Floor of Aloysia Hall. The fitness studio offers yoga and other fitness classes, two Peloton bikes available to reserve by appointment and other wellness programs available to the Haub Law community.

The Wellness Center on the first floor of Aloysia Hall also offers a Food Pantry for those students who need extra help. Items in the Food Pantry are free of charge to those students who need them thanks to the generous support of a Haub Law donor.
A quiet relaxation room is also located in the Wellness Center and is available to students, as well as private rooms for counseling sessions.
Wellness Week
Each year in April, Haub Law hosts a Wellness Week. Past Wellness Weeks have included speakers focused on a health work/life balance as a lawyer, trivia nights, health resources information, representatives from the Lawyers Assistance Program (LAP) speak on campus, movie screenings, paint nights, tie dying and other activities, food and stress activity giveaways, discounted healthy meals, and more.
Wellbeing Fair
Haub Law’s Annual Wellbeing Fair, a university-wide initiative, brings together students, faculty, and staff to promote wellness through a variety of related activities and resources. Tables staffed by community partners, healthcare providers, members of the legal community, and on-campus departments, provide a wealth of helpful information and resources, including recipes, samples and tips for healthy eating, education on drug prevention/intervention, blood pressure and BMI screenings, opportunities for art expression and much more.
