Meet Haub Law
The decision to apply to law school is a significant one, and information gained through discussion and personal experience is critical to the decision-making process. The Office of Admissions has designed a robust series of live virtual information sessions to introduce you to the Haub Law community and also offers in-person campus tours!

First, access Pace Portal Account
- If you are a first time user and have never logged into your , you will need to activate your account and set up your password first.
- Select the NEW USER? button to start the process and Begin Activation of your account.
- You will also be asked to set up your secret questions which are helpful in the future if you have to change or reset your password. This username and password will be used for all your Pace accounts including the online deposit system.
User ID
- Search for your name on the and you will see your user id listed.
- Make sure to change "PERSON TYPE" to "ALL", the default is faculty and staff.
- Make sure to change "CAMPUS" to Law School.
- Write down your Username. It will begin with your initials, followed by a sequence of numbers and a letter.
Default Password
Your password is your first and last name initials (lower-case), followed by a hyphen, and then your date of birth in this format: MM-DD-YYYY (add hyphens between month, day, and year).
Example: Your name is John Doe, and you were born on January 3, 1998, your initial password would be jd-01-03-1998. When you log-in for the first time, you will be prompted to reset your password. *Now you must activate your account. Without doing account activation below you will not be able to access your email.
Then, go to our :
- Enter your Username and Password.
- Select "Payment Options" from the left side.
- Select "1st Seat Deposit" or "2nd Seat Deposit" under Payment Options. (NOTE: STUDENTS ADMITTED TO SPRING CLASS ONLY PAY THE SECOND DEPOSIT OF $250)
- Click on "Process" and follow the instructions to enter payment information.

Please accept or decline your place in the entering class. To accept please send your non-refundable deposit, by the due date listed in your admit letter. All seat deposits are credited to the student’s tuition account. You can pay your deposit online. (follow the instructions above for the online deposit form). To decline your offer please contact us in writing using your deposit form or via email. Be sure to notify us of your future plans and what school you plan on attending.

Complete the as soon as you are admitted, and have the FAFSA information sent to Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ. Our School code is 002727. Here at Pace we have two types of Financial Aid for matriculated students: merit aid and need based aid. This aid is from a variety of sources including the federal and state government, private sources and Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ. I can be in the form of scholarships, fellowships, grants and loans.
Merit Aid
To qualify an applicant must be at least at median or above in LSAT and GPA for the admit year. Applicant must also have a strong application as reviewed by the scholarship committee. If a student is awarded a merit award, they will be notified at the time of admission.Need Based Aid
Your package will be generated by our financial aid department and they have created the Financial Aid 101 page to give you a comprehensive overview of your Financial Aid options, and some general tips on how to fill out the various forms and apply for aid. On Campus Housing
Dannat Hall Housing Applications are available for single law students who would like on-campus housing in Dannat Hall. Each room is about 12x16 feet long, furnished with a full size bed, large desk and high backed chair, two closets, bookshelf, and chest of drawers. The building also is equipped with a kitchen, laundry room, lounge, and exercise/weight room. Visit the Residence Hall page for more information.
Off-Campus Housing
Off-campus housing must be secured by the student. Please refer to the email sent by the Office of Admissions for a list or search engines and realtors. **Please note that Pace does not have any affiliation with the landlords or homeowners who post their listings. All students should verify that the rental agreement and conditions are fair and appropriate.

Pace requires all students enrolled in the full-time program to carry health insurance. All students are automatically enrolled in the Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Student Health Insurance. If you have existing insurance you may waive the Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Student Health Insurance. Any questions regarding the Health Insurance Plan can be directed to the Office of Student Services at (914) 422-4233.

Immunization Record Requirement
In order to be present on campus, New York State Public Health Law requires that all college and university students to submit proof/documentation of immunization for measles, mumps, rubella (known as MMR) and meningococcal disease (also known as meningitis).
The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) generally prohibits Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ from disclosing personally identifiable information from a student’s education records to a third party (including a student’s parents) without the student’s prior written authorization. If applicable please sign the FERPA form online to provide this authorization. -
If you are an international student and require an I-20, it will be issued by Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ. You must submit the following items to start the process. You and/or your sponsors must sign a Financial Affidavit showing that you/they accept responsibility for the costs of the program. You must also provide bank documentation showing the availability of funds. After your I-20 is done you must visit the U.S. consulate or embassy in your country with (1) Your letter of acceptance; (2) Form 1-20 and any other documents they require. Class schedules and registration guides are emailed to committed students in late May. The guide contain several important forms and useful information including a FERPA, Health Insurance forms, Class Schedule and a Registration and Payment Form, TWEN/Westlaw Passwords and Transcript Request Forms. Please review and read the packet carefully and return all items including the Registration and Payment Form to our Offices. Do not register for courses until you receive this packet with your assigned schedule.

Please request a final transcript from all degree granting institutions (undergraduate and graduate if applicable) to be sent directly to the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) to update your CAS report and admission records.

The campus is located on the first floor of Aloysia Hall. They will carry ALL your required textbooks in addition to school supplies, additional supplements and Pace memorabilia. Both new, rental and used books are available. The Bookstore Hours vary and can be found on their website. The books you need will be determined by your Class Schedule.
Orientation and First Year Assignments
Congratulations on your Admission to Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ. Orientation is mandatory for entering students and constitutes the first day of classes for all first years. Orientation for the fall semester is scheduled for late August. Assignments for your classes will be posted on an electronic classroom called CLASSES. Through CLASSES you will access course syllabi and assignments and participate in class discussions electronically. Most professors post assignments and syllabi before the first day of class and you are expected to be prepared to participate in class discussions on that first day. In your Orientation packet, you will be receiving a Westlaw number (and access for CLASSES) as well as a quick reference guide.
