Financial Aid Office

The Financial Aid Office at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ assists students in receiving a comprehensive financial aid package that includes a combination of need-based aid and merit-based awards. Haub Law strives to help make law school possible for every student accepted to our degree programs, whatever their current financial circumstances. We also recognize students with superior academic achievement.

Students who are accepted to Haub Law are automatically considered for a number of Haub Law-sponsored scholarships. Financial aid based on either merit or financial need is available to students matriculated at Haub Law from a variety of sources, including the law school, the federal and state government, and private sources. Financial aid can be given in the form of scholarships, fellowships, grants, and loans. Additional steps may be required to secure aid from other sources.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

  • All United States citizens and permanent residents applying for need-based aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by November 15, prior to the year in which you intend to enroll. The . FAFSA results will determine your eligibility for Federal loans, as well as the Federal Work-Study Program. You may be asked to submit additional information, usually your most recent income tax transcript or a verification form provided by Haub Law's Financial Aid Office. To apply for financial aid from the Federal Government or need-based aid from Haub Law, you must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year. You can starting October 1 each year (December 1, 2024 for the 2025–2026 academic year) at www.StudentAid.gov/FAFSA. The FAFSA school code for Haub Law is 002727.

  • Receive and review your FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) from the Federal Processor 2-4 days after you have completed your FAFSA. Make sure to read all information sent to you from the Haub Law Financial Aid Office and if you receive notice about missing or inconsistent FAFSA information, be sure to make the appropriate updates and/or submit any documentation required by the due dates listed. Upon receipt of your Financial Aid award letter from Pace, review it and log into your to check your Financial Aid status (to check for any holds or additional requirements), Aid eligibility and to accept or decline the Financial Aid awards being offered to you.

  • The Financial Aid package, mailed to students, includes your award letter with your aid offers for the upcoming year, as well as the online Guide to Securing your Financial Aid booklet which includes important information regarding your awards.

Haub Law offers students as much financial assistance as possible. Financial Aid can come in many forms, including scholarships, grants, work study, and student loans. Financial Aid award packages offered by Haub Law typically consist of a combination of awards from these types of aid programs.
